Physical Therapy

What is the difference between a chiropractic clinic and a physical therapy clinic?

Well, the short answer is, it depends. It depends on the type of chiropractor practicing within that chiropractic clinic. And it depends on the physical therapy clinic and the physical therapists that practice there. Chiropractic care and physical therapy are conservative approaches to treating and managing the human body. If one defines chiropractic care as just a chiropractic adjustment or spinal manipulation, and if one defines physical therapy as treatments with different modalities and various prescribed exercises, then what physical therapists do and what chiropractors do can be said to be different. However, there is a large percentage of physical therapists that utilize spinal manipulation as part of their treatment, just as there is a large percentage of chiropractors that utilize physical therapy modalities and exercises and rehabilitation as part of patient care.
