Elbow Pain

Are you a Niles, Park Ridge or Morton Grove resident with elbow pain? Elbow pain is a common symptom for people who undertake exercise or weight training after a few years off. Overuse activities such as daily typing or machine work with hands or instrument playing can contribute to elbow pain.

If you play tennis or golf regularly, or if you weight lift, you may suffer from golfer’s elbow (medial epicondylitis) or tennis elbow (lateral epicondylitis). Prolonged tendinitis can progress to tendinosis or tendinopathy so it’s important to address symptoms that have been persisting.

After a proper evaluation by your local Morton Grove chiropractor, Dr. Damir Simunac at Active Health Spine & Sport, treatment can consist of chiropractic adjustments to fixated joints in the elbow and wrist, myofascial release or soft tissue work to mechanical tension in the forearms and corrective exercises to help restore function.
